  METZGER, Jacob - On Monday, March 16, 1987, at K-W Hospital, age 83 years, of RR 2, Wallenstein. Beloved husband of Edna (Wieland) Scott; dear father of Dorothy (Mrs. Stan Foell) of Elmira, Herbert, Helen (Mrs. Henry VanDerMolen) and Gladys Vollmer, all of Kitchener, Earl of St. Jacobs, Bruce of Hawkesville, Annabelle Payson of RR 1, Elmira and Heather and Robert, both at home. Thirty-three grandchildren and 28 great-grand-children also survive. Brother of Wesley of Elmira, Martin of Kitchener and Mrs. Violet Bauman of Elmira. Predeceased by his first wife, Mary Ann Sittler; two grandchildren; one great-grandchild; one sister and one brother. Visitation at the Dreisinger Funeral Home, Elmira, where the family will receive their friends on Tuesday (today), 3-5 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. Funeral service in the chapel on Wednesday at 2 p.m., with Rev. Nelson Martin officiating. Interment Elmira Union cemetery.
