  KNECHTEL, Walter Edwin - At St Mary's Hospital on Saturday, June 14, 1975 after a brief illness, Walter Edwin Knechtel, aged 48 years, of 84 Pandora Ave; N., Kitchener; a lifelong resident of the Twin Cities. He had been employed with the Post Office for 30 years until his retirement in 1971. Husband of Kathleen Schlosser; father of Kenneth of Kitchener; brother of George of Baltimore, Frederick of Brantford, Mrs. Harold (Alice) Hook of Alliston, Mrs. Elizabeth Graham of Thousand Oaks, Calif.; three grandchildren also survive. Friends may call at the Ratz-Bechtel Funeral Home, 621 King St. W., Kitchener, where funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. on Tuesday, with Rev. Fred Roberts of Zion United Church officiating.
