  Rev. Donald J. McRae Passes - Word has been received here by his uncle, Alex McRae, of the death at Renfrew on Tuesday of Rev. Donald James McRae, a United Church minister. He moved to Renfrew from Wingham last April. He was the son of the late Rev. John D. McRae and Mrs. McRae. The former, who was also a United Church minister, was born here and received his elementary education here. He later served in the mission field in China, where he was at one time principal of Shantung Christian University in Honan. Their son was born in China in 1918. The late Rev. McRae is survived by his mother and a sister in Toronto. Funeral service will be held at Knox United Church, Ayr, on Friday at 2 pm, with interment in Ayr Cemetery. Ayr News Feb 19 1958 pg 2
