  WENDLING, Clarence -- On Thursday, January 5, 1978, at K-W Hospital, Clarence Wendling, aged 73 years of 101 Park St., Kitchener. Born in Kitchener. He was employed at Kaufman Footwear Industries Limited for 52 years and retired in 1979; a member of St. John's RC Church, Kitchener. Son of the late Mr. and Mrs. William Wendling; husband of Eva Freund; father of Clare and Bruce, both of Waterloo, and Mrs. Dick (Gloria) Kirkorian of Conestoga, also survived by 10 grandchildren. Predeceased by one brother, Jerome. Resting at the Edward R. Good Funeral Home, 171 King St. S., Waterloo, after noon Saturday for the parish prayers Sunday at 8 p.m. Prayers Monday at 9: 30 a.m., followed by funeral mass, at 10 a.m. at St. John's RC Church, Strange Street, Kitchener.
