- Joel Clemens, "was born in Waterloo County, Ontario, in 1843. At present he resides near Moline P. O., Kent County, Michigan, where he is engaged in farming. He was first married to Isabella Chapple and after her decease to Malinda Nagle. To him were born three children, namely: VIII Wilbret (dead) of first wife, and VIII Dora Malinda (dead) , and VIII Franklin of second wife."
