    • MARTIN, Mrs. Albert (Clara) - At St. Mary's Hospital on Wednesday, June 4, 1975, after a brief illness, Clara Ann Victoria Ballard of 247 Franklin St. N. and formerly of Spadina Road East, aged 99 years.

      Mrs. Martin was born in Wantage, Berkshire, England, a daughter of the late George Ballard and the former Elizabeth Greenaway. Mrs. Martin came to the Twin Cities in 1905, a member of St. John's Anglican Church and a life member of the Anglican Church Womens ?.

      She was predeceased by her husband, Albert in 1943 and by a son Albert, December 30, 1969; surviving are a son Edward Martin of Kitchener and a daughter, Betty (Mrs. Donald Jenner) of Elmira and 10 grandchildren, Paul, David, Barry, Peter, Charles, and Carol Martin and Wendy, Brian, Anne and Holly Jenner and eight great-grandchildren.

      Friends called at the Ratz-Bechtel Funeral Home, 621 King St. W., Kitchener, until noon on Saturday. Removal was made t St. John's Anglican Church for the service at 2: 30 pm with Arch-deacon C.E. Ladds officiating. Interment Mount Hope Cemetery.
