  SCHMIDT, Charles Passed away peacefully on Monday, February 28, 2011 at St. Mary's Hospital, at the age of 74. Beloved husband of the late Rita (Ludwig) Schmidt (1999). Loving father of Dwayne Schmidt and his wife Sabine of Kitchener. Papa to Brian and Melissa. Dear brother of Jean Flynn of Kitchener. Predeceased by sister Rosemary Schmidt. The family of Charles Schmidt will receive relatives and friends from 7 - 9 p.m. on Wednesday, March 2, 2011 at the Henry Walser Funeral Home , 507 Frederick St., Kitchener, 519-749-8467. Funeral service 1: 30 p.m. on Thursday, March 3, 2011 in the chapel of the funeral home followed by a reception. Cremation to follow.
