- DANIELLS, Helen Amelia (nee Kalbfleisch) Passed away peacefully surrounded by family on January 21, 2016, at the age of 98 at Parkwood Mennonite Home, Waterloo. Helen was formerly of New Hamburg. Helen is pre-deceased by her husband Charles Daniells, daughter Lynn Whittrick, parents Eckhardt and Emma (Matthies) Kalbfleisch, two sisters and four brothers. Survived by son Tom Daniells and wife Gail, daughter Jane Howald and also by sons-in-law Wayne Howald and Mike Whittrick. Loving "Gran" of Jessica Daniells (Bruno Ribeiro), Meghan Daniells, Mark (Jill) Whittrick, Christine (Greg) Van Wyck, Jeff (Anita) Howald, Jenn (Ian) McDonald. Great "Gran" of Emma, Molly, Olivia, Louisa, Evelyn and Sophie. Also missed by a number of nieces, nephews and friends. Helen was a former member of Trinity Lutheran Church, New Hamburg. Family and friends will be received at Trinity Lutheran Church, 23 Church Street, New Hamburg on Tuesday, January 26, 2016 from 10: 00 a.m. until the time of the funeral service at 11: 00 a.m. Pastor Stephen Larson and Pastor Helen Toman officiating. A family interment will be held at Riverside Cemetery, New Hamburg. In our prayers of gratitude, the family thanks the staff at Parkwood for the kind and attentive care given to our Mother.
