  Simon, Joseph A. - At Freeport Hospital on Sunday, December 26, 1976, following a lengthy illness, Joseph Aloysius Simon, age 68, of 24 Shanley St., Kitchener. A member of Sacred Heart RC Church. Beloved husband of Mary Dynia; dear father of Mrs. Frank (Josephine) Stepien, Mrs. Ron (Cecile) Hummel, both of Kitchener, Mrs. Barry (Rita) Little of Ottawa, Mrs. Robert (Julianne) Gagnon of Toronto; brother of John of New Dundee, Edward of Kitchener, Mrs. Emerson (Helen) Hurley of Kitchener; 11 grandchildren, one great-grandchild. Predeceased by one brother, Frank, one sister, Clara. Friends may call at the Ratz-Bechtel Funeral Home, 621 King St. W., Kitchener, today. Prayers will be said at the funeral home on Wednesday at 9: 30 am, followed by a funeral mass at Sacred Heart RC Church at 10 am. Father Edwin R. Lapinski, CR, will officiate.
