    • Christian Rosenberger, "the second son, resides abut three and one-half miles west of New Dundee, on the farm he cleared himself. He was married twice, first to Barbara Jones with whom he had one child named Barbara who died in infancy. His second wife was Hannah, daughter of Bishop Henry Shantz. Of the second union there are nine children"
