  JOHN "TIM" MARTIN 1952 - 2005. Passed away peacefully, at Freeport Health Centre of Grand River Hospital, Friday, June 10, 2005, at the age of 52. Beloved son of Paul and the late Ruth Martin. Cherished brother of Robert and Erma and their children Andrea and Jessica; Philip and Chris Derstine and their children Suzanne and Simon; Betsy and Manee Chacaby and their children Stella, Danelle, Shiela, Leslie and Maya; Carolyn and Stan Smith and their children Joe, Heather and Nicole. Tim prided himself as an advocate for affordable housing as well as having an active roll in the local Liberal party and Resident Association for Eby Village. Friends are invited to share their memories of Tim with his family at the Edward R. Good Funeral Home, 171 King Street South, Waterloo, on Sunday, June 12, from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. The memorial service to celebrate Tim's life and faith, will be held in the funeral home Chapel on Monday, June 13, 2005, at 11 a.m. The Record Newspaper 11 Jun 2005
