Word has been received here of the death of Mr. Milton Weber at his home in Regina, Sask., last Thursday at the age of 55 years. The deceased was a son of the late Solomon Weber and Mrs. Weber and was born in New Hamburg. He was a grandson of the late Senator Samuel Merner. He spent his younger days here and was employed in the New Hamburg Foundry. For the past 23 years he resided in Regina where he conducted the Weber foundry until his fatal illness about two months ago.
The remains were brought east and the funeral took place from the home of his mother in Waterloo on Tuesday afternoon to Mount Hope Cemetery. Rev. Finlay Matheson had charge of the service.
He is survived by his mother and two brothers, Norman Weber, of Chicago, and Eldon Weber, of Waterloo.
