- WEBER, H. Eileen (nee Slaughter) Passed away peacefully on Friday, December 14, 2012. Raised and educated in Toronto. Beloved wife of the late Donald Weber (1990) (former Mayor of Kitchener). Dear mother of Dr. Donna-Lee Iffla of Kingston and John Donald (J.D.) of Kitchener. Sister of Mrs. Marilyn Field (late Dennis) of Toronto and the late Bruce Slaughter of Toronto. Predeceased by her parents Mr. and Mrs. H. Jack Slaughter of Toronto and a sister Isobel in infancy. Eileen is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews. Eileen was a member of First United Church, Waterloo and was a member of Westmount Golf and Country Club where she enjoyed curling and golf for many years and served on several committees. She was Past President of the Kitchener Rotary Anns and Past Chairman of the Women's Committee of the Ontario Good Roads Association. Eileen loved her summer home in Muskoka for over 40 years. Cremation has taken place. A memorial graveside service will be held at a later date at Parkview Cemetery.
