- Jacob Maier
IIl a short time, Jacob Maier, 26 Courtland avenue west, died at his home Monday evening. He was a member of Zion Evangelical church a and an employee of the Ontario Shoe C Co. He was born at Lexington, Ont., in June 1867 and was therefore in his 71st year. He was married in Heideiberg 47 years ago.
Mr. Maier is survived by his widow, four sons, Gordon, Bloomingdale. Clayton of Kitchener. Walter and Lester at home, one brother, Henry of Kitchener, and one sister, Mrs. Robert Causick, Toronto. One grand daughter also survives.
The funeral was held Thursday at 30 p.m. from the residence to Mount Hope cemetery. Dr. C. A. Hirschman, pastor of Zion Evangelica Church, officiated.
