  It is with great sadness that we announce that our dearly loved mother passed away at her Lanark Heights residence on Sunday, September 11, 2011 in her 94th year. Forever cherished by daughter Maxine Walsh (Conor) and son Keith Stoner, grandchildren, Gloria Hayes and Lance Meredith Gore and great grandchildren, Lorne Robert and Julia. Loving sister to Howard Gastmeier (Veronica Thiele), sister-in-law to Yvonne Gastmeier of Wellington, New Zealand and auntie to many nieces and nephews. Beloved wife of the late Lloyd Meredith Stoner, predeceased by brothers, Dallas, Lloyd, Clyde Gastmeier and sisters, Pearl Seitz and Marjorie Baldwin. After working for many years as a staff member for the City of Kitchener, Grace was elected five times and served as Alderman for City of Kitchener and as Councillor for the Regional Municipality of Waterloo, during which time she held many positions on Boards, Planning Commissions and related civic committees. Thank you to the staff of Lanark Heights for the compassionate care given to Grace. A Memorial Service will be held at the Erb and Good Family Funeral Home, 171 King St. S., Waterloo on Thurs.
