Notes - TAYLOR, Betty McLeod (nee Drummond) - At St. Mary's Hospital, on Saturday, May 9, 2009, in her 90th year. Loving wife of the late John Allan Taylor (1989). Much loved mother of Larry, and Anne and her husband Ken Rex. Nana of Bryan Rex. Always remembered by her brother, Lawrence. Betty will also be sadly missed by her nieces and nephews as well as her many cousins. Predeceased by her sister, Jean Mingay, and her brothers and sister-in-law, Maurice, Norman and Mata Taylor. Betty was an avid gardener and past president of The Garden Clubs of Ontario. Visitation will take place at David MacLeod Funeral Home , 617 King St. N., Waterloo on Thursday, May 14, 2009 from 11 a.m. until the time of service in the funeral home chapel at 1 p.m. with The Rev. Canon Robin Lyons officiating. Interment in Hawkesville Cemetery. Donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Ontario or the CNIB would be appreciated by the family and may be arranged by contacting the funeral home at 519-888-7700 or davidmacleodfuneralhome.com.
