Peacefully with her daughter at her side on Tuesday, April 18, 2006 at K-W Health Centre of Grand River Hospital at the age of 84.
Beloved wife of the late John Mingay (1988). Loving mother of Jane Mingay and her partner John Kramer of Toronto and the late Ian Mingay (1996). Dear sister of Betty Taylor of Waterloo.
Aunt Jean will be missed by her nieces, nephews and cousins: Alexandra Bulmer, Matthew, Siobhan and Iain Bulmer, April Bulmer, Joan Fussell, Ann Rex, Larry Taylor, Paul, Robin, David and Richard Marritt.
Everyone who knew Jean will miss her open door, her stylish hat collection, her morning glories, her tap dancing and her fierce friendship.
Jean's family will receive relatives and friends from 10 until 10:45 a.m. on Friday, April 21, 2006 at the Henry Walser Funeral Home, 507 Frederick St., Kitchener, 519-749-8467. A celebration of Jean's life will take place in the chapel of the funeral home at 11:00 a.m. followed by a reception in the funeral home. Cremation has taken place. There will be a private interment at Mount Pleasant Cemetery, Toronto.
