  AITKEN, ANDREW In Puslinch Township, on Tuesday, March 1, 1921, another of the old residents of the township, at the age of 76 years, 4 months and 3 days. He was born in Halton County of Scots parents. He came to Puslinch thirty-seven years ago and in that time, built up a list of friends, who are indeed sorry for his demise. Mr. Aitkens has been a sufferer for some time and his death was not unexpected. Besides his widow, he leaves four daughters and one son, Mrs. A. S. Murray of Weston; Mrs. Charles Richardson of Gourock; Mrs. Charles Austin of Eramosa; Mrs. John Ehrhardt of Puslinch; and Thomas, at home. Three daughters predeceased their father. The funeral was held from his residence, lot 6, concession 4, Puslinch, at 2 on the afternoon of March 3 to Hespeler Cemetery. Rev. J. L. Small officiated. -Information from the death certificate: Of lot 6, concession 4 in Puslinch. Born in Esquesing Township, Halton Co. on October 24, 1844, son of Thomas Aitken and Isabella Laidlaw.
