    • Lloyd Gross at Freeport Hospital Health Care Village on Monday, Dec. 3, 1990 age 86 years, of 125 David St. Kitchener.

      Mr. Gross was a member of Calvary United Church, a former NHL Hockey Star (President's Cup 1931 - 32). He coached Kitchener Junior A and Junior B and minor hockey for many years. Operated a service station at King and Francis Street (399 King St. W.) for 45 years.

      Son of the late John Conrad Gross and the former Anne Bossenberry. Beloved husband of the former Ella Agnes Legge; loving dear father of Rene and her husband Ross Collins of Kitchener; Larry and his wife Joan of Guelph, Harlen of Kitchener. Also survived by nine grandchildren, Gary, Bradley, Kellie, Kenneth, J. Peter, Linda, Pamela, Cheryl and Nelson; 13 great-grandchildren and one brother Wilfred of Kitchener.

      Predeceased by his brothers Harve, Earl and sisters, Irene, Margaret and Kathleen.

      A memorial service will be held in the Ratz-Bechtel Funeral Chapel, 621 King St., W., Kitchener on Thursday at 2: 30 p.m., Rev. Gerry Lavergne officiating. Cremation has taken place with interment to follow in Kitchener Mount Hope Cemetery.

      Memorial donations to the Kitchener Minor Hockey Association, P.O. Box 203, Kitchener, may be made as expressions of sympathy.

      Reception to follow in the Ratz-Bechtel Family Centre. / There will be no visitation at the funeral home prior to the service.
