- Christian D. Rosenberger, "the tenth member of Jacob and Polly (Detweiler) Rosenberger's family, was born February 25th, 1817. In 1838 he was married to Elizabeth Schlichter who was born January 4th, 1818, and died September 11th, 1891. After his marriage he moved to Blenheim Township, about two miles south of New Dundee where they resided until the fall of 1847 when they moved to Wilmot Township, about one mile east of New Dundee where they resided until 1880, then they moved to Berlin where he still resides. After the decease of his wife he was married to Hannah Schlichter, widow of the late Jacob Detweiler. his family consisted of twelve children"
