  Mac Keffer dies; owned funeral firm Oscar McCreight (Mac) Keffer, a funeral director in Kitchener for the last 32 years, died at hospital following a herat attack Tuesday night. He was 63. Mr. Keffer was born here April 26, 1909, and established the Keffer Funeral Home in April 1940. He was a member of Trinity United Church and active in several clubs, including Grand River Lodge No. 151, Royal Arch Masons, Valette Preceptory No. 64 and Shriners. A Masonic service will be held at the funeral home Thursday at 7: 30 p.m. Survivors include his wife of 27 years, the former Evaline G. Greunawald; two sons, William and Michael; a daughter, Mrs. John (Katherine) Huisman; a sister, Alice (Mrs. Eugene Dillon) and two grandchildren, all of Kitchener. Mr. Keffer was predeceased by one brother. The funeral will be held Friday at 2 p.m. at Trinity United Church. Burial will be in Kitchener Mount Hope cemetery.
