  KNECHTEL-Mildred KNECHTEL - Mildred Ada Knechtel, beloved wife of George Knechtel, of 4324 Britannia Drive S.W., passed away in the Calgary General Hospital, on October 13, 1982, at the age of 74 years. Besides her loving husband, Mrs. Knechtel is survived by two sons, John of Richmond, B.C., Murray of Calgary; one daughter, Patricia Dubois, of Calgary; four grand-children; one brother, James Weir of Peterborough, Ontario; and one sister, Eleanor Winter, of Burlington, Ontario. Mrs. Knechtel was active in the Rotary Anns, the Christ Church Altar Guild, and Meals on Wheels. Funeral Services were held at Christ Church, (3208-8 St. S.W.), today, at 10:00 a.m., Reverend Fr. Barry J. Curtis, and Reverend Fr. Robert R. Griffiths officiated. Interment followed in Mountain View Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, memorial tributes may be made to the, Alberta Heart Foundation, 2011 10 Ave. S.W., Calgary. T3C 0K4. Arrangements in care of MCINNIS and HOLLOWAY Funeral Home.
