  Jacqueline Cress - 1929-2014 - Cress, Jacqueline (nee Murdock) - Remembered for her inspiration, kindness and love of life. Passed away peacefully at her residence at Fairview Mennonite Home, Cambridge, on Friday January 10, 2014 at the age of 84. Predeceased by her beloved husband Philip Cress. Cherished mother to Barbara and her husband John. Devoted grandmother to Lucas Wierda. Jacqueline will be missed by sisters in-law Doris Cress, Bernice Cress, cousins, nieces, nephews, family and friends. Predeceased by her siblings Frank Murdock, Elizabeth Davey and Jean Stedman. Jacqueline was a long time member of Trillium United Church and a former member of the Business and Professional Women's Club of Cambridge. She was also a hairdresser at Fairview Mennonite Home for over 35 years as well a resident for 9 years. While working and living at Fairview, Jacqueline had the opportunity to develop many long lasting friendships and will be sadly be missed by the residents and staff of Fairview Mennonite Home. At Jacqueline's request cremation has taken place. A memorial service to celebrate her life will be held at Trillium United Church, 450 King St. E., Cambridge, On, Saturday February 1, 2014. Visitation will take place 12:00 noon … 12:45 pm. Memorial service 1:00 pm. As expressions of sympathy, donations may be made to Fairview Mennonite Home or Trillium United Church and would be appreciated by the family.
