      At Freeport Health Centre of Grand River Hospital, on Friday, Sept. 12, 1997, John Joseph Bartlett, age 76 years, of Kitchener. Mr. Bartlett was a member of the Kitchener Knights of Columbus and was retired from the City of Kitchener, after 20 years service. Beloved husband of Mary Louise Bartlett (nee Cress); dear father of Robert of Kitchener, Stephanie and her husband Michael Krewski of Brantford, Gail and her husband Dom Weber of Waterloo and Marie Bartlett of Kitchener. Lovingly remembered by his grandchildren, Bryan, Jennifer and Melissa Weber, Jason and Jonathan Bartlett; brother of James of Gander, Nfld., George and Bill, both of St. John's, Nfld., Fred of Waterloo, Ida Dietrich of Kitchener, Mary Bucholtz of London, Bernice Bartlett of St. John's, Nfld. Predeceased by his parents and two brothers, Douglas and Harry. Friends and relatives may call at the Ratz-Bechtel Funeral Home, 621 King St. W., Kitchener, on Sunday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. The funeral and committal service will be held in the Ratz-Bechtel Chapel on Monday at 11 a.m. Cremation. Reception to follow in the Ratz-Bechtel Family Centre.
