  Urias Peacefully on Monday, October 31, 2011 at Countryview Residence, in his 87th year. Beloved husband of the late Luida (Bauman) Metzger (July 26, 2011). Loving father of Oscar and Elma Metzger of RR 4, Elmira, Leonard and Ruth Metzger, Clare and Miriam Metzger all of RR 2, Wallenstein, Mary and Ernie Weber of RR 1, Moorefield, Clifford and Hannah Metzger of RR 2, Drayton, Irene and Abner Bauman of RR 1, Wroxeter, Erla and Enos Eby of Floradale, Lester and Mary Metzger of RR 2, Wallenstein. Also survived by 45 grandchildren and 67 great-grandchildren. Survived by brothers Edwin, Sidney and Hettie, Melvin, Alvin, Amos and Ester, and sister-in-law Louisa (Elam) Metzger. Predeceased by his parents Henry and Magdelena Metzger, brothers George, Elam and Henry, a sister Sussanah Brubacher, one brother-in-law, five sisters-in-law, one grand-daughter, one great-grandson, and one great-granddaughter. Friends may call at the home of Lester Metzger, RR 2, Wallenstein on Wednesday, November 2nd from 3-5 p.m. and 6-9 p.m. and Thursday, November 3rd from 2-8 p.m., where funeral service will be held at the home on Friday, November 4, 2011 at 9 a.m. then to Olivet Mennonite Meeting House for burial and further service.
