    • KECHNIE, Stuart A. - On Monday, Feb. 21, 1983, at K-W Hospital, Stuart A. Kechnie, aged 72 years, of 11Margaret Ave., Kitchener. Beloved husband of the former Alice M. Diebel; dear father of Barbara and her husband James Klaehn of Kitchener, Carol and her husband Walter Stutz of San Diego, Calif., Peter and his wife Terry of Glenwood, Alta.; beloved grandfather of Christopher, Scott, Cindy and David Klaehn, Michael, Susan and Steven Stutz, Allan, Mark and Barry Kechnie; brother of Grant of Kitchener. Predeceased by his daughter, Joanne in 1971; his father, Edward Kechnie; his mother, the former Lydia Buschlen; his brother, Elmer and his sister Eileen Huget. Mr. Kechnie was a member of Stanley Park Baptist Church and an employee of Kitchener Transit for 37 years until his retirement in 1975. Friends may call at the Ratz-Bechtel Funeral Home, 621 King St. W., Kitchener, after 7 p.m. on Tuesday. Funeral and committal service in the Ratz-Bechtel Chapel on Thursday at 2 p.m. Rey. John Griffiths will conduct the service. Interment in Woodland cemetery.
