- SAD DEATH OF ALBERT DUERING
Succumbed to Typhoid Fever in The Milwaukee Hospital
The death occurred Sunday morning at 10 o'clock of Albert, beloved son of Mr. and Mrs. H. B. Duering at the early age of 37 years, 10 months and 18 days. Deceased took sick about four weeks ago while travelling for the Morgan & Wright firm of Detroit. Three weeks ago he was taken to the St. Mary's hospital at Milwaukee suffering from typhoid fever. Two weeks ago his parents and wife were sent for and they remained with him until last Friday when he rallied considerably and good hopes were entertained for his recovery. On Friday of last week his father-in-law went to Milwaukee and remained with him until the end. He and his daughter, the wife of the deceased will accompany the remains to Waterloo, where interment will take place on Wednesday afternoon at 2 o'clock. About three years ago deceased accepted a position of travelling salesman for the firm of Morgan & Wright. He was very successful and was recently promoted to the position of general manager for the firm's business in the state of Wisconsin. Several years ago he was married to Miss Maggie Seebach of Berlin and she with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. H. B. Duering, are left to mourn the loss of a loving husband and son. The funeral took place on Wednesday, Jan 13 at 2 p.m. from the residence of his parents to St. John's Lutheran Church for service and thence to Mt. Hope cemetery for interment.
