HESPELER Jeremiah Sitler; 80, of RR 1, Hespeler, died Friday at his home after a three-week illness.
He was born July 11, 1885, in Heidelberg, and had lived in the Hespeler area since 1948. Prior to that he had farmed in Western Canada.
He was a member of Wanner Mennonite Church, Beaverdale.
He was predeceased by his first wife, the former Hannah Buschert. Surviving are his second wife, the former Annie Gingrich; one son, Paul, at home; one daughter, Arlene of Bloomington, Ind.; two sisters, Mrs. Isaac (Sarah) Martin of Drayton and Mrs. Eli (Melinda) Horst of Alma, and four grandchildren.
The body will be at the Nelson Funeral Home, Hespeler, until 1 p.m. Monday when removal will be made to the Wanner Mennonite Church, where the funeral service will be con- ducted at 3 p.m. by Rev. How- ard Schmitt. Interment will be in Cressman Mennonite cemetery, Breslau.
Donations to the Mennonite Board of Missions and Charity will be accepted as expressions of sympathy.
