- WAGNER, Pearlous "Bill"
Born on July 7, 1924 and passed away with his loving family at his side on September 5, 2013 at the age of 89. Heavenly reunited with the love of his life, Verna (nee Heimple) who he married on May 6, 1944. Bill was born and lived his life farming in Breslau until 1986 when he moved to Kitchener. Loving father of Donna (Robert) Keating of Acton, Clifford (Evelyn) Wagner of Guelph, Janice (Gary) Meinzinger of Kitchener and Robert (Mylinda Mccooeye) Wagner of Guelph. Bill will be fondly remembered by ten grandchildren, seventeen great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren. Survived by his sister Audrey (Henry) Hiebert of Cambridge, sister-in-law Jessie Wagner of Cambridge and many nieces and nephews, Bill will hold special places in the hearts of those who knew him. Predeceased by his parents Charles and Laura (nee Prang) Wagner, brothers Vernice (Hilda) Wagner, Roy (Eileen) Wagner, Charles Wagner, his sister Reta (Wilf) Habel and granddaughter Laura Wagner. Bill was a faithful member of Trinity Lutheran Church for over 70 years until it closed. The family will receive friends at Westmount Funeral Chapel , 1001 Ottawa Street South, Kitchener on Sunday, September 8, 2013 from 1:30 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. A Memorial Service will follow in the funeral home chapel at 2:30 p.m. Interment will take place at Trinity Lutheran Church Cemetery Shantz Station. Those who wish to make donations in memory of Bill, are encouraged to direct them to the Diabetes Association or to Winston Park Long Term Care Facility where he resided since October of 2010.
