    • WAGNER, Verna Pauline (Heimpel) Passed away peacefully on Wednesday, December 28 2011 in her 88th year. Born on January 10, 1924 in Mannheim. Resided at Winston Park Nursing Home since April 2008. Loving wife of Pearlous (Bill) Wagner whom she married on May 6, 1944. Loving mother of Donna (Robert) Keating of Acton, Clifford (Evelyn) Wagner of Breslau, Janice (Gary) Meinzinger of Kitchener, Robert Wagner (Mylinda McCooeye) of Guelph. Mrs. Wagner will be sadly missed by 10 grand- children, 17 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren. She is survived by sisters Annie Bowman of Kitchener and Vera Schleuter of Waterloo, sister-in-law Reta Heimpel of Kitchener and brother-in-law Clifford Kurt of Elora and many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her parents John (Martha Gerber) Heimpel, sisters Alice (Alex) Service, Mabel (John) Bruder, Jean Kurt and brother Orville Heimpel. Also brothers-in-law Walter Bowman, and Albert Schleuter, a sister and brother in infancy and granddaughter Laura Wagner in infancy. Mrs. Wagner was a long time member of Trinity Lutheran Church of Shantz Station until it closed. Cremation has already taken place. A memorial service will be held at a later date. Donations made to the Canadian Diabetes Society would be appreciated by the family.
