Notes - McKAY, Marion J. (nee Rock) Passed away peacefully on Monday, November 3, 2014 at St. Mary's Hospital, at the age of 83. Beloved wife of the late Cecil McKay. Loved mother of Wayne (Becky), Paul (Heather), Colleen Coe (Andrew), Derek (Cora), Mark (Nancy) and Greg (Angela). Proud grandmother of Robin (Mike), Nancy, Amy (Marc), Melissa, Sandi, Michael, Chantal, Shannon, Steven (Alyson) and Jessica and eight great-grandchildren. Dear sister of Dorothy Murphy, Bill Rock and Bruce Neagle. Predeceased by her parents Ernest Rock and Margaret Enright and brother Ralph Rock. Marion was a proud nurses assistant at Freeport Hospital for 30 plus years. Marion's family will receive relatives and friends at the Henry Walser Funeral Home, 507 Frederick Street, Kitchener, 519-749-8467 on Thursday from 2 - 4 and 7 - 9 p.m. The Funeral Liturgy will be held in the funeral home chapel on Friday, November 7, 2014 at 11: 00 a.m. with Fr. Tom Moisan officiating followed by a reception. A Funeral Mass will be held at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Catholic Church, 69219 Bronson Line, Dashwood, N0M 1N0 on Saturday, November 8, 2014 at 11: 30 a.m. with Fr. Leonard Desjardins officiating followed by interment in the Parish Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, donations to Chalice Canada (Catholic Child Sponsorship) would be appreciated by the family (cards available at the funeral home) or say a silent prayer in memory of Marion.
