Beloved wife of the late Dr. Robert Franklin Slater, MD. Dear mother of three sons and their wives, Robert and Bess of Auburn, Ont., W. Richard and June of Ceritos, Calif., J. Reginald and Eleanor of Cambridge (Preston); loving grandmother of Brian Binns of Cambridge, R. H. Frank Slater of Clinton, Joanne and her husband Will Denomme of Goderich, Stuart Slater of Ceritos, Calif. and great-grandmother of Justine, Lucas and Jasmine Denomme. Predeceased by brothers, Will, Ben, John and Harold Morris and sisters, Violet Cakebread, Elizabeth Risk, Lillian Schoeneau, Margaret Louttit and Daisy. Friends may call at the McCallum and Palla Funeral Home, Goderich (524-7345), on Tuesday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral service will be held at St. James Anglican Church, Cambridge (Hespeler) on Wednesday morning at 11 a.m. Visitation one hour prior to service. Interment New Hope Cemetery, Cambridge.
