    • Simpson, Hugh Sergeant. Had enlisted as battalion butcher and rose to the rank of Quarter Master Sergeant. He was overseas nearly three years. He died of wounds in June, 1918 leaving a wife, three daughters and one son who live in Hespeler, Ontario. He was employed by the R. Forbes Company Limited of Hespeler.1a
