      Pioneer Resident Dies At Age 91 Years

      Rev. Ray Shantz conducted funeral services for Mrs. Amanda Krempien, 91, in the United Missionary Church, Didsbury on Thursday, May 22, at 2 p.m. Burial under the direction of Didsbury Funeral Home took place in the Didsbury cemetery.

      Mrs. Krempien, a resident of Didsbury for 52 years, died Tuesday in Didsbury hospital following a brief illness.

      She was born in Strasburg, Ont., and came to Didsbury in 1900. She was a member of the United Missionary Church.

      Surviving are five daughters, Mrs. Ben Good, Didsbury; Mrs. Sim Myers, Airdrie; Mrs. M. Gaddes, Victoria; Mrs. Will Strack, California; Mrs. David McCoy, Carstairs; 18 grandchildren; 35 great-grandchildren; two sisters and a brother in Ontario.
