  POTTER, E. William---At Hamilton General Hospital, on Thursday, Sept 26, 1991, Edward William Potter, formerly of 653 A Silverbirch Rd, Waterloo, aged 48 years. Bill was a member of the K-W Sertoma Club and was past president had held all of the offices in the local club. He was district governor of the Sertoma Club from 1975-1976 and was Sertoman of the year for 1990-91. He had owned and operated Retrobar Inc. Husband of the former Linda Derbecker; father of Lenore and her husband Ted McArthur and Yvette, all of Woodstock; step-father to Shelley and her husband Tery McGuire of Waterloo, Brenda Plummer and her husband Tom Upton of Gabriola Isle, BC. Lorrie and her husband Rob Becker of Toronto; brother of Thelma Mitchell of British Columbia. two grandchildren, Ryan and Erin McGuire, also survive. Predeceased by his parents. No visitation. A funeral and committal service will be held from the Ratz-Bechtel Funeral Home, Saturday at 2: 30 pm with Rev. Harry Herlihy officiating. Cremation to follow. The Record 27 Sep 1991
