  Letters Evan Williston 10/01/1950 - 26/12/2012 To All I regret to announce that my dear friend Evan Williston passed away at 8:00pm December 26th in hospital. Evan suffered a fall in his home on the night of the 24th when he slipped in the bathroom, hitting his head and sustaining a broken neck, damaging his spinal cord. Evan had no feeling or motor skills from the neck down and was placed on life support. He was due to be operated on, but this could not occur due to his high temperature. His internal organs had stopped working, and the doctors had advised his family that there was no hope for Evan. A decision was then made to turn off Evan's life support system and let him pass peacefully away. Nita and family, along with Larry and myself were at his bedside as he passed away.
