  HAIN, Mrs. G. R. On - Friday, Feb. 2, 1973 at the Elmira Nursing Home, Elizabeth Clara Szember, age 87; beloved wife of Dr. Gordon R. Hain and dear mother of Dr. Irene C. Hain, both of Linwood; sister of Julius Szember of Kitchener and Martin Szember of Vancouver; step-sister of George Gerth of California. Mrs. Hain was a graduate of the Victoria Hospital School of Nursing, London, Ont.; she graduated in 1912. She served as a missionary in India from 1920 to 1925; she was regent of the Princess of Wales chapter I.O.D.E. from 1942 to 1948. She was predeceased by four brothers and four sisters. Friends may call at the Dreisinger Funeral Parlor, Elmira, after 7 p.m. today. Funeral service in the chapel Monday, Feb. 5. at 1 p.m. Burial in Park Lawn cemetery, Toronto.
