  Koch, Herbert L. - At St. Mary's Hospital, on Thursday, July 25, 1985, after a brief illness, Herbert Louis Koch, of 221 Queen St. S., Apt. 903, Kitchener, aged 78 years. A member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church and was very active in church activities. Had been employed with D. Barnett and Company for 22 years as a truck driver, until his retirement in 1972. Husband of the former Elsie Bierwagen; father of David of Waterloo, Neil of Hamilton, Stuart of King City, Sandra (Mrs. Robert Kovrig) of Kitchener. Nine grandchildren also survive. Predeceased by his parents and one sister, Gertrude. Friends may call at the Ratz-Bechtel Funeral Home, 621 King St. W., Kitchener, after 7 p.m. this evening, until 9 a.m. Saturday, when removal will be made to St. Paul's Church, Queen St., where the funeral and committal service will be held at 11 a.m., with Pastor Harold Tomesch officiating. Cremation to follow. Donations to the Concordia Seminary, St. Catharines, may be made as expressions of sympathy. Kitchener-Waterloo Record, July 25, 1985
