  WHITLA, Christina At Cambridge Memorial Hospital, on Monday, April 21, 2003, in her 98th year. Christina Whitla (nee Morris) is the beloved wife of the late Thomas Whitla (1987). Beloved mother of Marilyn Wellwood and her husband Bob of Kingston and Barbara Mavin of Cambridge; much loved Nanny of Jane Wellwood, Alice Tabor and Bill Wellwood, Gregory, Thomas and Blake Mavin; loved great-grandmother of Sarah, Pamela, Amy, Zachary, Sam, Connor and Ian Mavin and Wendy Tabor. She was predeceased by two brothers, Robert and Jack Morris and one sister, Effie Collins. Mrs. Whitla was a lifetime member of the Ivy Rebecca Lodge (Galt) where she served as a Noble Grand and Dis- trict Deputy. She was a lifelong mem- ber of First United Church, Cambridge and has resided at St. Luke's Place for the last six years. Friends will be received at Coutts Funeral Home and Cremation Centre, 96 St. Andrews St., Cambridge (www.funeralscanada.com) on Tuesday (tonight) from 7-9 p.m. The funeral service will be conducted in the funeral home chapel on Wednesday, April 23, 2003 at 2 p.m. Interment to follow in Mount View Cemetery, Cambridge.
