Mom flourished after beginning a fulfilling career at Dutch Boy Food Market and still treasures the relationships she developed during her tenure. Mom and Dad were adventurous and travelled the world enjoying the sites, history and music that each of 27 different countries offered. Mom was a self-taught and accomplished seamstress, organist and pianist, horticulturist, master of beautiful flower arrangements, stain glass and homespun textile productions. The family expresses their deepest gratitude and thanks to the very kind and caring staff, faculty and volunteers at the Cancer Treatment Centre of the Grand River Hospital and the Innisfree Hospice.
