Mary was the much loved and cherished mother of Todd (Ursula), Kim (Lynda), Rene (Sandy), Robin (Donna), Cindy, Juanita (Jim Fergusson), Donn (Nancy), Tawn (Anne), Monty (Sandra), Gordon (Stephanie). Predeceased by her brother Bob (Pansy), and sisters Rita (Freddy Krug), Garnet (Eldon Dell), Elsie (Bill Bennewies) Ellen, (Wilfred Dietrich). Special sister-in-law to Foster's family including Ward (Barbara and Anne), Don (Marion), Ruth (Murray Hill), Anne (Doug Millar), Gary (Dorothy), Loella, and Tim. She engaged regularly with 44 grandchildren and their spouses along with 27 great-grandchildren and their spouses whom she so treasured. The family will receive family and friends on Sunday, September 16, 2018 from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. at the Mark Jutzi Funeral Home , 291 Huron Street, New Hamburg, Ontario. Mary and Foster were well known in the village of Baden raising 10 children on a large property that became their garden, playground and home. Mom flourished after beginning a fulfilling career at Dutch Boy Food Market and still treasures the relationships she developed during her tenure. Mom and Dad were adventurous and travelled the world enjoying the sites, history and music that each of 27 different countries offered. Mom was a self-taught and accomplished seamstress, organist and pianist, horticulturist, master of beautiful flower arrangements, stain glass and homespun textile productions. The family expresses their deepest gratitude and thanks to the very kind and caring staff, faculty and volunteers at the Cancer Treatment Centre of the Grand River Hospital and the Innisfree Hospice. Family will gratefully acknowledge donations to the Innisfree Hospice, Kitchener and can be done through the Mark Jutzi Funeral Home (Cheques Accepted).
