Funeral services for Mrs. Philip Binkle of Plattsville, formerly of New Hamburg who died last Wednesday in Woodstock hospital, were held at the Alex Glendinning Funeral Home on Saturday with Rev. Donald Pugh of Plattsville United Missionary Church officiating. She was 68.
The former Lily Jessie Margaret Lips, she was born in New Hamburg, a daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Conrad Lips. She came to Plattsville in October, 1959. Mrs. Binkle was a member ot Trinity Lutheran church.
She was predeceased by her husband in 1946. Surviving are a daughter. Mrs. Red (Orpha) Harmer of Plattsville; four grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
Burial took place in Riverside cemetery, New Hamburg.
