  HUEHN, Wesley C. - Of 7 King St., New Hamburg, passed away Sunday, November 12, at St. Mary's Hospital, Kitchener. Born in New Hamburg, 75 years ago, a son of the late George Huehn and the late Nancy Hardy. A member of Trinity Lutheran Church. He served as fire chief of the New Hamburg Fire Department from 1958 to 1972. He was also past-president of the Waterloo County Mutual Aid Assoc., serving from 1962 to 1964. He was employed by the New Hamburg Mills and also by the Town of New Hamburg. Beloved father of Ross of Markham, Burton of New Hamburg, Helen (Mrs. Elmer Garner), of London, Ont., Marjorie (Mrs. Donald Heathers) of Stratford, Joan (Mrs. William Sharrow) of Wallaceburg, Gloria (Mrs. Ernest South), of Hickson; beloved brother of Harvey of New Hamburg, Herbert of Waterloo. Also survived by 17 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by his wife, the former Annie Fichler, August 30, 1972, and also by one sister, Pearl, and one brother, William. The late Mr. Huehn is resting at the Omand-Jutzi Funeral Home, 291 Huron St., New Hamburg, until noon Tuesday, November 14 when removal will be made to Trinity Lutheran Church where the funeral and committal service will be conducted at 2 pm.
