    • WIDRICK, Edith - Passed away on Monday, December 15, 2008, at St. Mary's Hospital, Kitchener. She was born 85 years ago, a daughter of the late Christian and Nancy (Zehr) Schwartzentruber. Edith resided at Nithview Home New Hamburg, and was formerly of Baden and Zurich. She was a member of Steinmann Mennonite Church, Baden and enjoyed knitting, quilting and reading. Devoted wife of Harold Widrick who she married September 3, 1947. Beloved mother of Lois and Richard Shantz of Glendale, Arizona, and Raye Widrick of Zurich. Also remembered by brother-in-law, Albert Bachert of Seaforth and many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her brother, Edmund and Katherine Schwartzentruber, and her sister, Mabel Bachert. Relatives and friends may call at the Mark Jutzi Funeral Home , 291 Huron St., New Hamburg on Thursday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. The funeral service will take place on Friday, December 19, 2008 at Steinmann Mennonite Church, Baden at 1 p.m. Interment to follow in the church cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, donations may be made to the Mennonite Central Committee, Christian Blind Mission or the charity of your choice.
