  • Notes
    • Blum-Nauman. A quiet wedding took place last Saturday afternoon at the Philipsburg Lutheran church, when Miss Mildred Nauman, daughter of Mrs. Clara Neuman and the late Samuel Nauman, of Baden, became the bride of Pte. Frank Blum of Valcartier, Que., [] Airs. Dora Blum and the iute Nicholas Blum, of Kitchener. Rev. G. R. Schultz performed the ceremony. The bride wore a street length dress of heaven blue with head dress of pink Briarcliff roses. Her only ornament was a gold locket, the gift of the bridegroom. Miss Winnie Kriesel, the bridesmaid, wore a street length dress of rosewood with a bead dress of pink and white rosebuds. Mr. Clayton Nauman, brother of the bride, was best man. After the ceremony a wedding supper was served at the home of the bride's mother. The bride's table was decorated with pink and white streamers and centred with a wedding cake. About 30 guests were present from Baden, New Hamburg, New Dundee and Kitchener.
