  Grim search for body at Waterloo landfill enters fourth week Investigators remain confident they'll find key evidence - and likely the body of missing Kitchener woman Catherine Todd - as a methodical search at the regional landfill enters its fourth week. Poor weather last week slowed the search but didn't prevent officers from continuing the grim task, said Insp. Kevin Thaler. The search continues seven days a week, 10 hours a day during daylight hours, at the 925 Erb St. W. landfill. "There's a very strong belief that the loveseat is in the landfill, if not Catherine Todd herself," Thaler said. "We know that evidence is in the landfill." Police believe Todd, 48, was murdered on March 18 or 19, a few days before she was reported missing. A small loveseat was also missing from Todd's Lorraine Avenue apartment.
