  Benjamin Weber," the eldest son of Henry and Veronica (Hershey) Weber, was born near Blue Ball, Earl Township, Lancaster County, Pennsylvania, February 2nd, 1786. He was married to Veronica Martin, April 28th, 1806. She was born May 24th, 1784, and died 11th, 1859. In 1817, in company with others, they, with their family, left Lancaster County, Pennsylvania, and moved to the wilds of Canada, and located on lot No. 8, German Company Tract, Waterloo County, Ontario, where they resided until their deaths. He died January 21st, 1863. To them was born a family of seven children" Eby, Ezra E. (1895). A biographical history of Waterloo township and other townships of the county: being a history of the early settlers and their descendants, mostly all of Pennsylvania Dutch origin: as also much other unpublished historical information chiefly of a local character.
