  Mrs. Marie Vogel, 18 Guelph St., widow of Christian Vogel, died Friday at K-W Hospital after a lengthy illness. She was 77. Mrs. Vogel was born in Arthur, a daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. John Ziegler. She was married in 1903 at Rochester, N.Y., and lived in Kitchener for the past 50 years. Her husband died in 1952. She was a member of St. Peter's Lutheran Church, the Golden Circle and the Waterloo College Women's Auxiliary. Surviving are a son. Harold, two daughters; Mrs. Alex (Esther) Dunbrook and Mrs. Walter (Irene) Schaefer, all of Kitchener; three brothers, Norman and Ernest Ziegler of Kitchener, and Melvin Ziegler of Waterloo, and a sister, Mrs. Amanda Dryden of Waterloo. The body is at Ratz-Bechtel Funeral Home where funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Monday by Rev. Dr. A. W. Lotz. Burial will be in Mount Hope Cemetery.
