- John A. Borth, 24 Grove St., died Saturday at K-W Hospital after a lengthy illness. He was born March 27, 1874, at Neustadt but came here more than 60 years ago. He was predeceased by his wife, the former Matilda Roehr, whom he married here in 1897. Mr. Borth was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church. He was a son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Andrew J. Borth. Surviving are two sons, Asher and Andrew of Kitchener; two daughters, Mrs. Harry (Rodenna) Reichert and Mrs. Albert (Matilda) Strassburger of Waterloo, 13 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. The body will be at the Ratz-Bechtel Funeral Home until 1 p.m. Tuesday when removal will be made to St. Paul's Church where friends may pay their respects until the service. The funeral service will be conducted Tuesday at 2 p.m. At the church with burial in Mount Hope Cemetery. Rev. Arthur Eissfeldt will officiate.
