- SNYDER, Griffith Arthur Passed away on May 18, 2010 at Trinity Village Care Centre, in Kitchener, at age 75. Beloved husband of Mary Snyder (nee Heinrichs). Dear father of Laurel and her husband Waldo Penner, Trevor Snyder and Katrina Snyder. Loving grandfather of Harrison, Gareth, Reise and William Penner. Brother of Mary Bennett. Predeceased by his parents Clarence and Ida (nee Geiger) and brothers David and George Snyder. Griff started out his career as a mechanic at a Studebaker garage, then moved on to Forbes and Charterways. He later retired from Al's Cartage. Griff's family will receive relatives and friends on Thursday, May 20, 2010 from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. at the Henry Walser Funeral Home, 507 Frederick St. Kitchener (519)749-8467. A memorial service will be offered in the funeral home chapel at 11 a.m. on Friday, May 21, 2010. As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Parkinson Society or to the MDRR Centre at Wilfred Laurier would be greatly appreciated by the family (cards available at the funeral home).
