  REGIER, Jacob George Peacefully at Nithview Community Residence, New Hamburg, on Wednesday, November 23, 2011, at 97 years of age. Jacob Regier, loving husband of the late Mildred Regier (nee Snyder). Dear father of Doris and Larry Neuschwander of Albany, Oregon, Helen Gallinger of New Hamburg, Kathryn and Ed Janzen of New Hamburg, Sharon and Ed Krynicki of Kitchener, Marilyn and Doug Steckly of Wellesley, Dale and Cindy Regier of Kitchener and Audrey Faul and Steve Becker of Kitchener. Loving grandfather of 17 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. Predeceased by his parents Gerhart and Helen Regier and was the last surviving of all of his siblings. Relatives and friends are invited to visitation at the Mark Jutzi Funeral Home, 291 Huron Street, New Hamburg, on Friday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. A committal service will be held at Nith Valley Mennonite Church Cemetery, Saturday, November 26, 2011 at 4: 00 p.m., followed by a service at Nith Valley Mennonite Church, New Hamburg at 4: 30 p.m. Pastors Matthew and Hendrike Isert Bender officiating. Reception to follow in the Church Hall. A special thank you for the care and the Pastoral Staff at Nithview Community. Thanks also to his Pastors Matthew and Hendrike Isert Bender and his friends at Nith Valley Mennonite Church for their care and support. His family is thankful for the kindness shown by everyone in New Hamburg especially the staff at The Old Country Restaurant.
